Notion restores access to Anthropic after service interruption

This weekend, there appeared to be a problem with the Notion and Anthropic integration.

Early Sunday morning, the corporate posted, “Anthropic’s Opus 4.7 and 4.8 fashions have degraded efficiency, leading to a better failure price for customers deciding on these fashions in Notion AI.”

Because of this, Notion has introduced that it’ll disable using “all Anthropic fashions” in automated productiveness instruments.

Twelve hours later, Notion’s head of product Max Schoening wrote that he was “shocked” by “the variety of individuals RTing this for tales in regards to the high quality of the mannequin.” (Based on public statistics on X, Notion posts have been reposted roughly 1,200 instances.)

“The efficiency degradation was a brief interruption in service,” Schoening mentioned. “This occurs. It occurs to Notion, GitHub, AWS, OpenClaw, and the whole lot in between.”

He added that Notion has regained entry to Anthropic’s fashions.

In the meantime, an Anthropic spokesperson mentioned in a press release, “On account of a short-term infrastructure problem, a number of Claude fashions skilled a short-term error. This problem has since been resolved. We thank our customers for his or her endurance as we work to revive service.”
